Abstract (EN)
Mawlids are literary texts that prophet Mohammad `s birth take issue in. The day when prophet Mohammad born would be means of happiness for Muslims, and as a result of this happiness, many Works were written.?el-kevaikibüd dürriyye fi mehdi hayril berriye ? by Imam Busiri is one of the most important sample of mawlid genre in arabic literature.? Ümidül muznibin mawlid? belong to metni sinanoğlu is one of the written work of Turk- İslam literature which is prepared with the aim of examining and comparing to bring in todays literature. İn the first part of the work, the concept of mawlid, as a literary form mawlid is studied and general information about the function of mawlid in our history and literature is given. The comparison between this work and one of the most important example of mawlid in turkish literature by suleyman çelebi( vesilatün necat) was made. Later, the life of sinanoglu and his literary charachter is mentioned. Examining in terms of style and content, it is passed the part of latinized part of mawlid written in the format of masnavi.
