Abstract (EN)

In this study the order acceptance and scheduling problem in a make-to-order operation environment is addressed. A particle swarm optimization-PSO is done to aid an operations manager to select a set of potential customer in order to maximize the operational profit and all the selected orders are fulfilled by their deadline. With a limited capacity, solving this model leads to an optimal capacity plan as required for the selected orders over a given (finite) planning horizon. The proposed model considers only one regular time and one single machine. By applying this model to a small MTO operation, this paper demonstrates how to achieve the maximal operational by selecting the order which can be handed in before the deadline of products. Key Words: Order Acceptance And Scheduling, MTO System With Single Machine, Sequence Dependent Set Up Times, Particle Swarm Optimization
