Organisational attractiveness perception of individuals who get the education of cabin services in civil aviation sector

The objective of this study is to investigate the organizational attractiveness perception of students who get the education of Cabin Services in the Sector of Civil Aviation which is a rising trend in the recent period of Turkey. This study aims at showing whether gender plays a meaningful role in the organizational attractiveness of Civil Aviation Industry for the individuals who get the education of Cabin Services. This study evaluates the perceptions of the individuals of cabin services training regarding the cabin services sector. At this point the Civil Aviation Cabin Services program in the province of Istanbul vocational high school students designated as the target group, the survey was carried out with a total of 365 students. The survey comprises 15 questions based on a scale about organizational attractiveness and demographic data on gender. The scale used in the research consist of three different sizes that are about general attractiveness of the sector, intention to follow the sector and prestige of the sector. As a result of the analysis according to gender did not show a difference in size to the attractiveness and intention to follow the sector. But prestige size has shown significant differences by gender. İt is concluded that women attach more importance to the prestige of the sector than men. Overall, the attractiveness of the sector does not reveal a significant difference by gender. The emerging findings were discussed in the light of the results of the research, recommendations for both administrators and academics are presented.
