Job security among the workers who works in civil navy yard (In Tuzla)

The background of job security based on the years of B.C. and the importance of it was understood more especially with the industrial revolution.A lot of people died and got injured with the reason of the increase in the job accidents because of the development of industry and technology.Shipbuilding industry which takes part in the metal area started to develop in centre of 20th century rapidly.Shipbuilding industry developed especially in the starting of the 21st century in our country rapidly thanks to the increase of the defence industry's importance and the spreading of ship transportation.The region of Tuzla comes first in the shipbuilding industry in our counrty.But we admit the job security as the most important item because of the job accidents and the number of the increase in job ilnessessin this area.Actually the most important item is the health of people.According to researchs job accidents which can not be prevented is nearly the percent of % 2,9. So The number of Job accidents are very rare thanks to the taking necessary job precaution.In this thesis instead of the precautıons which are provided by the employee, the providing of prevent the job accidents thanks to applying of workers to this precautions are told.In this concept a questionnaire was done among the workers in navy yard of Tuzla. The job security perceptions and the toughts of workers (rules of system,internalizing, the perception of education and risks) are checked in this thesis.
