The opinions of students and teachers with respect to the obstackles of communication in class

In this thesis, the obstackles (difficulties) of communication between the students, who are attending the grades 3, 4 and 5 in primary education school, and their teachers have been tried to studied. In this research, the answer of the question; ?What are the opinions of students and teachers with respect to the obstackles (difficulties) of communication in class?? has been tried to searched.The research is descriptive model. The survey ?The difficulties of communication between teachers and sutudents? has been used as data collecting tool. The datas of the research were formed in accordance with the answers of the survey obtained from 120 teachers and 472 students who are being educated in central primary institutions in the town Ulaş which is located in city Sivas, in 2007-2008 education period. The statistical analysis of data were examined by using the software program SPPS 12.0 and with the methods "t test" and "one direction variation analysis".In this research, the following results have been obtained.The opinions of the teachers with respect to the difficulties of communication in class are that there is always difficulties in criticising and warning the students while in lesson but on the other hand there are sometimes difficulties in taking into consideration of student?s suggestions in class activities, arranging discussion meetings in class about unexpected topics to get the ideas of students, putting accross their messages with adding their emotions and evaluations in classcommunication, caring the share of students private dates, receiving information by using innominate surveys and wishes boxes to get students opinions about in class behaviours, leaving unsuccessful students alone,The opinions of the students with respect to the difficulties of communication in class are that there are always difficulties in believing by teachers that all students have enough capacity to learn the given informations in class, warning and criticising by teachers the students while in lesson, not caring the known words used in their communications by teachers, not caring the physical distance between the student and teacher in communication, believing by teachers that unsuccessful students must stay in front seats, giving an enough time by teachers for answering the questions asked to unsuccessful students like succesful ones, dealing with the students, who has negative behaviours, by teachers instead of dealing with the all the class, but on the other hand there are sometimes difficulties in caring the messages of students body languages, putting accross teachers messages with adding their emotions and evaluations in class communication, caring the share of the privates dates of students by teachers.The diffirences of opinions of the students and teachers with respect to the difficulties of communication in class are that teachers observed difficulties in such following subjects; taking into consideration of student?s suggestions in class activities, arranging discussion meetings in class about unexpected topics to get the ideas of students, receiving information by using innominate surveys and wishes boxes to get students opinions about in class behaviours and leaving unsuccessful students alone.The students emphasized that there are such following difficulties of communication in class; believing by teachers that all students have enough capacity to learn the given informations in class, not caring the usage of known words in their communications by teachers, not caring the distance between the student and teacher in communication, believing by teachers that unsuccessful students must stay in front seats, giving an enough time by teachers for answering the questions asked to unsuccessful students like succesful ones, dealing with the students, who has negative behaviours, by teachers instead of dealing with the all the class, not caringthe messages of students body languages, putting accross teachers messages with adding their emotions and evaluations in class communication.It has been obtained a meaningful differences with respect to opinions of teachers in following such variables; sex, age, last graduated education institute and proffessional seniorty in school.On the other hand, it couldnt be obtained any meaningful differences with respect to opinions of students in following such variables; sex, educational backround of parents, occupation of parents and monthly income of parents.Key Words: 1- Communication 2- Diffuculties in communication
