Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to determine the level of self-efficacy perceptions of primary school teachers, who teaches physical education, in the matter of teaching physical education. In addition; it was tried to examine such variables like gender, marital status, professional working time, educational status, the type of school where he or she works, the location where he or she works, the status of being a bachelor in any branch, the place of physical education course, the status of regular sports, in-service training status and having a certificate in any branch, to determine the effects of variables on the self-efficacy perceptions of classroom teachers. This research was conducted among 338 primary school teachers working in Ereğli district center, towns and villages of Zonguldak province in 2016-2017 academic year. As the data collection tool, "Personal Information Form", was used to determine the personal characteristics and "Physical Education and Game Teaching Self-Efficacy Scale", was used to determine the self-efficacy perceptions of classroom teachers about physical education and game teaching. SPSS package program was used for data analysis. In the research, frequency, average and standard deviation values were examined. In addition, t test, Anova and Tukey HSD test were used. According to the results of the research, according to the status of having a sports license, it can be said that classroom teachers have athletes' license in many areas to help the development of teachers. According to our research, it was found out that there are 52 class teachers with sports licenses in sports such as football, basketball, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, judo, swimming, chess, handball, taekwondo, athletics and archery. Class teachers know the objectives of the lesson and can provide control and discipline by transferring it to the course process. It was also revealed that the students had problems in participating in the classes by becoming aware of the physical differences between the students. According to gender, it was found that male classroom teachers were generally more equipped and skilled in terms of dominating the theoretical knowledge of the course, practicing and formation skills than female classroom teachers.
