Abstract (EN)

The research was conducted to determine the instructional leadership and academic optimism levels of classroom teachers working in official primary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the province of Erzincan and to reveal the relationship between these two variables. Correlational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used in the research. In addition, it was examined whether the instructional leadership and academic optimism roles differ in terms of gender, marital status, teaching year, seniority, class status, education level and the place of residence of the school according to the thoughts of the primary school teachers. "Personal Information Form", "Classroom Teachers' Instructional Leadership Behaviors Determination Questionnaire" and "Academic Optimism Scale" were used to collect data in the research. For statistical analysis of data; frequency, percentage distribution, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, skewness, kurtosis, t test, Anova test, Pearson correlation and Multiple Regression analysis were used. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the instructional leadership and academic optimism levels of the classroom teachers were good and high. In addition, differences were examined according to some demographic data of the participants and various results were obtained. As a result of the correlation (Pearson Correlation) analysis, it was concluded that there is a positive, moderate and significant relationship between the instructional leadership of the classroom teachers and their academic optimism.
