The lamb problem for semi-planes whose boundry lenght is under the influence of various forces

In this study, where the response caused by vertical loads/loads applied at the boundary length of the elastic half plane and changing according to time is the subject, sudden point load or specific December length load problems will be examined. In general, it is aimed to conduct a study on the research that will be considered as an elasticity problem, in which the mechanical characteristics of the half-plane, the loading geometry and the effect of time dependence will be considered. The Lamb problem for the half-plane is a boundary value problem involving position and time variables. The geometry of the problem makes it possible to reduce the problem discussed in the thesis to a boundary value problem for a system of differential equations with the help of Laplace and Fourier integral transformations. In cases where different forces will act on the half-plane along its boundary, integrals that are difficult to calculate are encountered during the solution of the relevant boundary value problems. In an example where the effect of an intensified driving force is studied, the Cagniard method, which uses region transformations in the complex plane, has been applied to the solution of this problem.
