The socio-cultural and political reasons of joining the separatist terrorist organizations in Turkey

Through the human history, violence has been one of the principal problems of states. Even though centuries pass, violence has been carried on under different ideological, economic, racialistic and religious motives. In this context, comprehending in which social environment, under which economic conditions, and with which political cultures the individual who applies violence is brought up assists us to understand under which conditions participation in the separatist movement occurs.When we consider the conditions of the period when PKK appeared, it will assist us to understand the source of its ideological infrastructure and its sociological infrastructure that it was organized getting effected by which opinion organizations. PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party) is the first political based organization that has made the Separatist and Ethnical Violence in Turkey to get supported widely. This formation shaped under the Marxist- Leninist ideology has later focused on Kurdish nationalism in the following years, and brought its operations into the size of ethnical terror.When it has been 2011, if PKK can still find out militant and participation can not be stopped, then, State should examine its political, social and economic policies. Even if PKK was a result, it can?t be approved for it to legitimize the violence.
