Abstract (EN)
The respresentation of Turkish nationalists in the leftist press have been problematized in our study based on the knowledge of that the reality is not a given one in the news, actually it is constructed reality.İn that news texts how the Turkish nationalists are represented, whether there are othering discourses and practices regarding the Turkish nationalists in the news; if so, in which form and how ofthen there are examined. İn this respect, all the news in which Turkish nationalists are thematized or are covered in secondary positions are reviewed in the Birgün, Cumhuriyet and Evrensel newspapers -published in 2015- which are constituted the sample of study, in these news, the othering-delegitimizing discourse directed to Turkish nationalists has been tried to be detected within the framwork of othering- delegitimizing codes designed by Bar-Tal and Bezirgan&Bilgin.
