Abstract (EN)

The technological developments, which are unavoidable in today?s world, have provided better life standards for human beings. However, the developments have brought the increase in the amount of the waste generated. Industrial waste management has gained importance as an essential part of a fully integrated management strategy. For many companies, implementing waste management systems is a tool for understanding the current and potential impacts of the organization and obtaining potential savings by keeping wastes under control. In this study, amount of wastes in a beer industry and the sources of these wastes are analysed and observed on department basis. It is mentioned that in which department wastes are formed mostly and the reasons of it. A solid waste management is tried to be applied and than wastes are minimized in the same manner. For waste minimization, minimization on the source is considered instead of minimization of wastes formed due to production. Operations and amount of production of the solid wastes are investigated and minimization techniques and recyclable amounts for these wastes are calculated to their costs analysis.
