Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this research is to examine the moderator role of emotional autonomy in the relationship between emotional availability of parents and resilience in late adolescence. In addition, another purpose of our research is to examine the relationship between the main variables of our study such as between emotional availability of parents, resilience and emotional autonomy and various sociodemographic variables. 562 people who are in the period of late adolescense participated the study. 415 data were analyzed due to inclusion and exclusion criterias and extreme value analysis. Sociodemographic Information Form, Lum Emotional Availability of Parents, Brief Resilience Scale, Emotional Autonomy Scale were used to collect the data. IBM SPSS Statistics 25.00 program was used in data analysis. Hierarchical regression analysis performed for the main research problem, to examine the moderator role of emotional autonomy. According to the results of our study, emotional autonomy was found to have a significant moderator (formative) role in the relationship between maternal emotional availability and psychological resilience. However, the moderator (formative) role of emotional autonomy in the relationship between father emotional availability and psychological resilience was not significant. In other words, it can be said that emotional autonomy is the main determinant while mother emotional accessibility level affects the psychological resilience level of an individual in the last adolescence period. However, the same effect of emotional autonomy cannot be seen significantly in the relationship between the father's emotional accessibility level and psychological resilience of an individual in the last adolescence period.
