Abstract (EN)
Research of self-perception levels of Social Studies Teachers regarding the reasons of occupational burnout (Amasya Province Sample) In this study, whether the self-perceptions regarding the reasons of occupational burnout of Social Studies Teachers who work in formal schools of Ministry of National Education in Amasya and its districts in 2016-2017 educational year vary or not according to the scale's sub-dimensions and to the variables such as gender, age and serving time has been examined. In the study, quantitative research approach was used. With the purpose of diagnosing self-perception levels regarding the reasons of occupational burnout of teachers, "a teachers' occupational burnout levels self-perception scale" which consists of 29 items and 4 dimensions has been formed. Scale has been implemented by using a full counting sample approach on 160 teachers who constitutes the whole population and data has been gained by 141 teachers who volunteer. In the result of the research, data has been analyzed by using the convenient statistical program SPSS. Research's sub-problems consist of self-perception levels regarding the reasons of occupational burnout of Social Studies Teachers in Amasya and its districts and whether the self-perception levels show a meaningful difference or not according to gender, age, serving time or sub-dimensions. Regarding the personal qualities of teachers who participated in the research, for descriptive statistical analysis, frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation levels have been calculated. In the process of analysis, independent sample t test and one-way analysis of variance are made thanks to being convenient for research's sub-problems. In the research, it has been determined that regarding the occupational burnout of Social Studies Teachers, self-perception levels show that no meaningful difference according to gender, age and serving time variables and according to sub-dimensions teachers have " I agree" level of self-perception.
