Abstract (EN)
Social expenditures made by the state in accordance with the social state understanding are of great importance for social life. Although social expenditures are basically shaped through the central government; recently, it has begun to be carried out through municipalities, which are an important element of local governments and play an active role in meeting the basic needs of the local people as well as their social needs. The aim of the study is to reveal the social expenditures made by the Antalya province Kepez and Muratpaşa district municipalities within the scope of the social state approach. In the study, the social expenditures of both municipalities during the 2018-2022 period; The budget of the municipalities is presented through final accounts, strategic plans, performance programs and activity reports. Comparative analyzes of social expenditures were made for the central government, municipalities and two district municipalities.
