Social life space relationship Gaziantep traditional city houses

In this study, the conceptual elements of the space, the relationship between human and space were examined in the city of Gaziantep. Especially starting from this point, the question of whether space has a relationship with social life has created the problem of the thesis. When the architectural structure and units of the traditional houses of the city of Gaziantep are examined, the organization of the space and the different functions of each in social life have been the main focus of the thesis. In the thesis, it is aimed to examine the general characteristics of the traditional city houses of Gaziantep, which has hosted many civilizations and civilizations as one of the first settlement areas. Such a thesis study has been prepared in order not to neglect these historical houses and architectural structures, which are formed by blending cultural values and which contain social life, and to be preserved and transferred to the next generations.
