Abstract (EN)

In this study, the recombinant pBR325SLik vector carrying lichenase gene from Streptococcus bovis and serin esterase gene from Spirulina platensis was transformed into Spirulina platensis M2 (lineer form) and Spirulina platensis N-39 (spiral form) by electroporation technique. Recombinant S. platensis/pBR325SLik observed in the Spirulina medium with Cm while there was no non-transformant Spirulina in the same medium but intensive non-transformant growth was observed in the medium without Cm. The presence of lichenase gene was demonstrated into S. platensis/pBR325SLik recombinant organisms by PCR. Although E. coli cells carrying pBR325SLik were showed lichenase activity on both LB/Lichenan/Agar plates and SDS-Lichenan-PAGE, recombinant S. platensis/pBR325SLik organisms were slightly showed enzyme activity on LB/Lichenan/Agar plate .
