Examining the relationship between submissive behaviors and self-confidence of Faculty of Sports Sciences students

The aim of this research is to examine the relationship levels between the submissive behavior and self-confidence of the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences. A total of 243 individuals (age = 21.5), 208 women and 364 men, participated in the study within the scope of the research objective. In the context of the purpose of the research, individuals studying at the Faculty of Sports Sciences participated in the research. Research data was applied over the internet due to the covid-19 pandemic process. All participants participated in the study voluntarily. The "personal data form" created by the researcher, the 'multidimensional subordination scale' developed by Turkmen and Yildiz (2019) and the 'self-confidence scale' developed by Akin (2007) were used in the process of collecting research data. Descriptive statistics, t - test in independent samples and one way ANOVA test were used in the analysis of the obtained data. In independent samples, the t-test and the ANOVA test were used to test the difference between the levels of self-confidence and the levels of subordination according to the demographic variables of the students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences. Analyses were conducted in the SPSS package program and the significance level was taken as P<0.05 from the scope of the research. According to the results of the study, the sub-dimensions of subordination and self-confidence of students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences according to the gender variable (p<0.05), do students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences work in any public or private sector other than your student? submissive according to the variable sub-dimensions (p<0.05), according to the variable of the type of Sport Sciences branch fakultesiogrenci submissive and self-confidence in the lower dimensions (p<0.05), Sport Sciences of the University of reading according to the variable of the region where is located fakultesiogrenci submissive and self-confidence in the lower dimensions (p<0.05), marital status degiskenie fakultesiogrenci of sport sciences, according to the submissive and self-confidence lower dimensions (p<0.05), The students of the Faculty of sport sciences according to the variables of the perceived parent attitudes submissive and self-confidence in the lower dimensions (p<0.05), According to the students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences in the class of the variable submissive sub-dimensions (p<0.05), the variable family income of the students of Faculty of sport sciences according to the submissive and self-confidence in the lower dimensions (p<0.05), students of Faculty of Sport Sciences of the variable according to the place you are staying submissive and self-confidence in the lower dimensions (p<0.05), and you're doing the sport for many years students of Faculty of sport sciences according to the variable self-confidence in the lower dimensions there was a significant difference (p<0.05). There are no significant differences in the sub-dimensions of self-confidence (0<05) of students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences according to the class variable, and in the sub-dimensions of sub-dimensions of students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences according to the variable how many years they have been playing sports (p<0.05).
