Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to examine the Sportsmanship Orientations of the Students Studying at Rize Sports High School and Physical Education and Sports School in the 2020-2021 academic year. General scanning model was used in the research. The sample of the study consists of 403 volunteer students selected by simple random sampling method, studying at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University School of Physical Education and Sports and Rize Güneysu Sports High School. In order to collect the necessary data in the study, "Multidimensional Sportsmanship Orientation Scale (MLSSÖ)" was used. T-test and ANOVA test were used in the analysis of the data. TUKEY test, one of the multiple comparison tests, was used for pairwise comparison of groups with significant differences. Statistically, the error level was accepted as p<.05 and the significance level was Alpha (α). As a result of the study, based on the answers given by the students in the sample to the scale questions; According to the gender variable, male participants according to the female participants, according to the type of sport variable, according to the participants who are interested in team sports, studying in sports high school, according to the participants who are interested in individual sports, according to the participants who are interested in individual sports in physical education and sports school, according to the participants who are interested in team sports According to the variable of doing sports, it was determined that the sportsmanship orientations of the participants who do and do not do active sports are in the middle level of sportsmanship orientation with scores close to each other. Students who do not earn income from the sports branch they are active in have higher sportsmanship orientation than those who do, sports high school students between the ages of 14-15 and physical education and sports students between the ages of 18-19 have more It has been determined that students with more years of doing sports and less years of doing sports have more sportsmanship orientation than students who have more years of doing sports.
