Abstract (EN)
This research has been studied to examine E-sports Participation, Digital Game Addiction, Academic Achievement, Problem Solving Skills and Life Satisfaction in Students who receive education and training in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in the Western Mediterranean Region, in the Department of Sports Management of universities. A questionnaire form consisting of 5 sections will be used as a data collection tool. In the first part of the questionnaire, there are questions related to demographic findings, and in the second part, there are questionnaire questions in which the perspectives and participation towards e-sport are examined. These questions will be prepared by examining the literature and getting expert opinion in the light of the experiences of individuals interested in e-sports.In the third part, the digital game addiction scale is included. In the fourth section of the questionnaire, problem solving inventory will be included. The problem-solving inventory was developed by Heppner and Petersen in 1982 to measure the problem-solving skills perceptions of prospective teachers, and was adapted to Turkish by Şahin, Şahin and Heppner (1993). In the 5th part of the questionnaire, the "Life Satisfaction Scale" developed by Diener et al. (1985) " used. The scale was adapted to Turkish by Köker (1991) and Yetim (1991).At the end of the study, E-sports Participation, Digital Game Addiction, Academic Achievement, Problem Solving Skill and Life Satisfaction were found in accordance with the literature. In line with these, the Self-Leadership Scale and the BEM Gender Role Inventory scale were found to be more successful in motivating and directing themselves in the leadership behavior skills of those who do feminine, masculine and impartial sports branches and those who do feminine and neutral sports.
