Investigation of sport management students in terms of self-leadership and gender according to feminen and masculated sport branches (A case of West Mediterranean)

This study was carried out in order to examine the self-leadership and gender roles of feminine or masculine sports branches of the students who are studying in the Department of Sports Management of the universities which are Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in the Western Mediterranean Region. Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University and Antalya Akdeniz University sports management students in the Western Mediterranean Region, which has a sports management department, constitute the study population. The number of students studying in the 2018-2019 academic year was taken from the related universities and the general scope of the research universe was drawn. Accordingly, a total of '460' students from Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University '300' and Antalya Akdeniz University '160 spor have been identified. The sample of the study was '152 iden of 160 students from sports management department of Akdeniz University in Antalya and' 175 'of 300 students from Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. A questionnaire was created by using 3 sections in the data collection, firstly, questions related to demographic findings in the first section, ular BEM gender role inventory de in the second section and uştur self-leadership scale den in the third section. At the end of the study, the sports branches of the students applied were found to be feminine (feminine), masculine (masculine) and neutral (compatible for each sex) as compatible with the literature. According to the Self-Leadership Scale and the BEM Gender Role Inventory scale, feminine, masculine and neutral sports branches were found to be more successful in self-motivated and self-motivated leadership behaviors.
