The major goal of this study is to determine the role of strategic flexibility as a mediator between strategic learning and strategic foresight. Four dimensions of strategic learning are used in this study, including Knowledge Creation, Strategic Knowledge Distribution, Strategic Knowledge Interpretation, and Strategic Knowledge Implementation. In addition, it discusses and illustrates the sources of strategic flexibility, including resource and coordination flexibility. The sources of strategic foresight are also examined, which include hindsight, insight, and prospection. A questionnaire that includes 36 items and utilizes the A five-point Likert scale has been distributed. The measurements are based on a scale ranging from 5 (strongly agree) to 1 (strongly disagree). The practical data of the study were collected from administrators working at the University of Basrah in Iraq. The target sample of the study includes the University President, Vice President of the University, College Dean, Assistant Dean, and Head of the Department. A total of 163 valid responses have been collected from the hand-delivered questionnaire. The study findings indicate that Strategic Learning has a statistically significant and positive impact on Strategic Foresight. Additionally, Strategic Learning has a statistically significant and positive impact on Strategic Flexibility. Furthermore, Strategic Flexibility has a statistically significant and positive impact on Strategic Foresight. Moreover, Strategic Flexibility acts as a mediator in the relationship between Strategic Learning and Strategic Foresight, enhancing their connection. Adopting Strategic Flexibility at the University of Basrah as an approach and practice by developing infrastructure that is capable of generally absorbing environmental changes and efficiently resolving them. Monitoring developments and changes related to the environment of the University of Basrah through the utilization of various means, as well as encouraging the effectiveness of cooperation between the colleges and departments of the University of Basrah.
