Technological solutions and cost evaluation in water-moisture insulation

In this study, traditional and modern water insulation materials and systems are explained by redefining water-moisture insulation terms. The waterproofing applications of various projects in Istanbul are shown in figures and photographs. In the light of the water insulation regulations in the buildings which will be going into effect on 01.06.2018, the projects of TEM Eurasia and Karat 34 F block have been set as an example. The insulation systems and costs of these projects under the ground level were analyzed by unit price exposures of the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning in 2018. The results are presented in figures, graphics and tables. The differences between regulations and application in the ground costs, system costs and the relationships between them have been determined.
