In this thesis study, it is aimed to examine the compliance of the diving centers in İzmir and the trainers working in these centers to the current regulations and standards, the causes of problems in diving, researchers' knowledge and experience, the availability of divers who have been trained or have at least one dive training in diving centers, the reasons for the problems they have encountered in the dives, and the security measures taken in this area. Within this scope, two different questionnaires were created to ask the instructors and the divers. The questionnaire study was conducted with face-to-face interviews with 30 instructors and 30 divers between May-June 2017. When the results are examined, it has been determined that equipped dives performed in this region are in accordance with existing regulations and instructions. Moreover, the fact that no fatal accident has occurred has shown that necessary precautions are taken in terms of diving safety. On the other hand, it has been observed according to divers, this dive site is safe in any dive center and that they have not encountered a very important problem yet.
