Abstract (EN)
Sufism and philosophy are among the sciences that built Islamic thought. One of the most important concepts on the basis of these two sciences is self. In this study, according to Sufism and Islamic philosophy, the nature of the concept of self, self as a source of bad attributes, its purification and its degrees are discussed. The interconnection of the concepts of self, heart and soul, which explains the nature of man, has been examined. The issues that Islamic philosophers deal with, the capacity of the self, and its types in terms of competence are examined. The views of both sides on these issues were examined in detail and comparisons were made. As a result of these comparisons, it was attepted to reveal the issues that they agrred or disagreed.
