Abstract (EN)
The investigation of six mushaf roses from the 17th century kept in the library of Süleymaniye manuscripts is the focus of our study. The historical progression of mushaf illumination is described in the introduction section. In the first chapter, the subject of mushaf roses and other ornamental areas seen in mushafs is discussed. There are explanations in this section specifically for roses. The second part is the Catalogue part, which is the main part of our thesis. The catalog of 18 works belonging to the 17th century and the photographs of the mushafs with roses and their technical drawings are also included in the relevant section.
