A study on the impact of Islamic finance products on sustainable development

This thesis examines the utilization of renewable energy sources and the strategic approaches within the framework of sustainable development. Sustainable development aims to balance economic growth, social equity, and environmental protection, with energy management playing a crucial role in this balance. Renewable energy sources provide unlimited and environmentally friendly alternatives to fossil fuels, which are limited and environmentally harmful. They enhance energy supply security and reduce the carbon footprint. The study investigates the current state of renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, and biomass, their contributions to sustainable development goals, and the latest developments and applications in this field. Additionally, the technical, economic, and political barriers encountered in the development and dissemination of renewable energy technologies are examined in detail. The thesis focuses on Turkey's renewable energy potential, successes, and challenges in this sector, analyzing topics such as the formulation of energy policies, economic incentives, and regulatory frameworks. The study offers recommendations for promoting the use of renewable energy sources, including energy efficiency strategies, financial support mechanisms, and public awareness campaigns.
