Abstract (EN)
In this study, the focus is on sustainable performance measurements in the business world, taking into consideration companies' integration of the sustainability concept into their business processes. In addition to traditional performance measurements, companies have set development goals by participating in sustainability indices and publishing sustainability reports. This thesis examines the economic, social, and environmental indicators declared by companies that have announced sustainability reports in the BIST Sustainability Index between 2019 and 2022. The published indicators are evaluated using the Multi-Criteria Decision Making Method. The aim of this study is to provide a measurement model for evaluating the performance of companies that publish sustainability reports and to create a sustainability index. As a result of the method used, the developed sustainability measurement model assesses and compares the sustainability performance of companies, offering a basis for comparison among them.
