Suut Kemal Yetkin and literary criticism

This study has been made to put forth the sense of criticisim of Suut Kemal Yetkin who has been known with his essays on art and literature. In the first section of the study, information on the life and literary personality of Suut Kemal has been given and in the second section, Kemal?s thoughts about literary themes of the Republic Period has been evaluated.Suut Kemal Yetkin?s essays, which have been collected in six books, provide clues as to his sense of criticism. With these essays, the thoughts about art and literature of esthet have been put forth.
