Applicability of the just in time production system to the tea businesses

Today, the development of technology and reaching the global dimension of competition has faced enterprises using modern systems. Therefore, enterprises that want to maintain their existence have to apply modern systems. One of these modern systems is the Just in Time Production System. The Just-in-Time Production System is a modern system that envisages the production of the necessary products in accordance with the qualities required and at the required time. In the study, applicability of this system to tea establishments was investigated. The study was started by searching the literature. In the first part of the workshop, detailed information was given about the "Just in Time Production System". In the second part of the workshop, "Tea Businesses and Production Systems" are dealt with. In the third part of the study, necessary researches were carried out about "Application of Just in Time Production System to Tea Business". After obtaining the necessary information, we switched to the application part. The application was made in a public tea factory in Rize. As a result of all the researches done, the effects that can occur when the Just in Time Production System is applied to tea enterprises are explained in the study.
