The three sacred religions' conception of God's creation of Adam in his shape

Although it is possible to comprehend the existence of Allah through reason, it is not possible to comprehend His nature through reason. We can only know Him to the extent that He has revealed Himself. Although the three holy religions have many similarities, the most important difference that separates Islam from other holy religions is the understanding of God. In Islam, God is unique and incomparable in every way, but He is one and has no partner. Although it is emphasized in the Quran that Allah is one and has no equal in any way, as a result of both other religious interactions and the approaches to the expressions in the texts, a belief that Adam was created in the image of Allah has emerged. However, there is no verse in the Quran that Adam was created in the image of Allah. In addition, the hadith known as the hadith of form has been the basis for the formation of this belief. The belief that Allah created Adam in His own image has also been shaped around this hadith. When we bring this hadith together with the understanding of God in Islam, it does not seem possible to accept the hadith in its literal sense. Because Islam opposed the concept of man as God in Judaism and God as man in Christianity, and argued that Allah is unique and incomparable in every way and stated that He has no equal in any way. However, the narrations about Allah in the Quran have also revealed very different understandings. While some understand the expressions in the verses in which Allah describes Himself with their apparent meanings, others have interpreted them. While some approach with a purification and representative language understanding, some have chosen the path of anthropomorphism and anthropomorphism. Indeed, this is also the case in the hadiths. As a result of the narrated hadiths regarding the form of Allah, various differences of opinion and different approaches have emerged. We see that the discussions about the nature and form of Allah were also discussed in the holy religions before Islam. The discussions about the nature and form of Allah were influenced by the old religions and the traces of some understandings in the religions have continued to exist. We see that the discussions about the form of Allah started with Judaism among the three holy religions and this influence has continued in other religions. Both the narrations in the religious texts and the forms of understanding have ensured the continuation of these discussions. While some scholars argue that this belief was formed as a result of external factors, some scholars claimed that internal factors led to the formation of this understanding.
