The effect of conservation development plans for the design of new buildings, additionals in the historical environment, the sample of side urban and 3rd degree archeological site.

As the needs of society change over time, it causes the lifestyles of past societies to fail to keep up with modern living conditions and historical environments to undergo changes. The realization of this change in a healthy way is with the right approach and protection awareness. This study draws attention to the fact that while designing new buildings in the historical environment, historical environments can preserve their urban identities and pass them on to future generations. For this purpose, first of all, the theoretical and conceptual infrastructure is presented, in which the components constituting the main subject area of the research are defined. In this section, the concepts of historical environment and protection are defined, the reasons for protection and the problems experienced in historical environment protection are investigated. Then, the development of conservation theory in Europe and in our country in the historical process was examined. In the other part of the research, the concept of new building design in the historical environment was defined. The needs for new building design in the historical environment have been focused on. Legal approaches and universal decisions were first studied on a European scale and then in our country. In the sequel, generalizations have been made on the ideas of architects and thinkers who advocate different views on how to design approaches in the design of new buildings in the historical environment. Finally, the new building design in Side Urban and 3rd Degree Archeological Environmet, which was selected as a research area, was evaluated in the context of planning provisions.
