Abstract (EN)

In this study in Islamic culture and Islamic Sufism stories and metaphor in which birds played a role were worked on. On subject Sufism and exegesis sources examined and it is been sported with the works have been made in this regard. During the researches, it was determined that the interest on birds dates back to very old times and some spiritual characteristics were attributed to them. At this point in qur'anic parables existence of birds being a source of inspiration to the Sufis were understood. During examination, it has been seen in the light of Islam Sufism analyse contained subjects with symbolic and metaphoric method. It has been determined by studying that independent works were written in the name of it, stories and metaphors regard birds in sources it has an important place. In our study; examining the birds were mentioned Sufism sources, which spiritual characteristics they represent were explained. And also, in writings because of some subjects embodied with birds it tackled independent titles. With determining the role of birds in the miracles given to the prophets with Sufis perspective tried to express. Benefiting from Mantuku't Tayr, the main subject of Sufism Seyr u Suluk, is told with a symbolic journey of birds, important inquiries were emphasized. Lastly, the interpretation of the verses in which birds are mentioned are explained with various works.
