Özet (EN)

Osteoarthritis due to a variety of etiological factors is an important health problem, which is also affected by increased life expectancy and which is more frequently confronted each year. One of the important reasons for this is the osteonecrosis, which makes up 10% of hip joint prostheses performed every year. This disease, which causes structural changes, causes irreversible degeneration if not treated early. For this reason, treatment modalities focus on early treatment modalities. Our aim in this study is to evaluate histopathologically the effects of synovia grafting in the repair of osteonecrosis created in the rabbit model with the control group. For this purpose, 24 rabbits of white new zealand type were used. 24 rabbits were divided into 2 groups. Synovial grafts were applied to the left knees of the rabbits in both groups, while the right knees constituted the control group. 13 rabbits in the first group were sacrificed for 6 weeks and 11 rabbits in the second group were sacrificed for 12 weeks. Histopathological evaluation was performed. As a result, synovial mesenchymal stem cells were used as a source of synovial graft in the knees and BMP2 levels were statistically significant.
