Evaluation of the hadiths in the book named "Gerçek Tip-Yitik Şifanin İzinde" in the context of tibb-i Nebewî

Health has always remained a vital concern for human beings. For this reason, numerous studies and books have been produced in both the fields of medicine and religion. Among these are works known as Tibb al-Nabawi (Prophetic Medicine), which compile the sayings (hadiths) of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) concerning health and healing. One of the contemporary books that frequently comes up in discussions related to Tibb al-Nabawi is Gerçek Tıp Yitik Şifanın İzinde, which includes a large number of hadiths. The book has been drawing increasing attention due to its insistence on rejecting all forms of modern treatments and pharmaceuticals, advocating instead for healing methods and remedies found solely in hadiths and other alternative practices. The inclusion of numerous verses from the Qur'an, mostly unsourced hadiths, sayings attributed to other Prophets, proverbs, stories, and some unsourced research results have contributed to a sense of credibility and trust among readers. Since the Yitik Şifa book contains a significant number of hadiths that have not yet been critically analyzed, it was chosen as the subject of this study. Within the framework of the authoritative status of Tibb al-Nabawi, the marfu hadiths in the book were identified, referenced specifically using the Kutub al-Tis'ah and evaluated for authenticity. Commentary sources were also consulted to analyze how these hadiths were used contextually in the Yitik Şifa book.
