The aim of this study is to reveal the effect of the science course enriched with technological applications on the academic achievements, interests and attitudes towards the science course of the 7th grade students, for the science course unit "pure substances and mixtures". In the study, a quasi-experimental design with pre-test post-test paired control group was used, which is one of the quantitative research methods for this purpose. The study group in the research consists of 42 students studying in the 7th grade in a secondary school in the Çayırova district of Kocaeli province in the 2019-2020 academic year. A class of 20 students for the experimental group and a class of 22 students for the control group were randomly determined without making any selection. While the lessons for the control group are carried out according to the existing curriculum; science lessons for the experimental group were carried out according to the activities included in the 5E lesson plans created by the researcher using web 2.0 tools and augmented reality applications for the curriculum. The data of the study were obtained with the academic achievement test, interest test and attitude scale applied as pre-test and post-test to the students in the control and experimental groups. The data of the study were analyzed with t-tests and ANCOVA analyzes using the SPSS 22 package program. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the science course enriched with technological contents had positive contributions to the academic success of the students, their interests and attitudes towards the science course.
