Development of teknology and state of employment

Technology is an indispensable part of human life.Technology, on the one hand, is a must for human life, and on the other hand, it has been in a position to threaten human life at times. A certain effort is required for the maintenance of life and the provision of human needs.For this reason, effort is an indispensable phenomenon as much as technology.Within this context, besides the positive and negative effects of technology in many areas, it is inevitable that it has similar effects on the concepts of effort and labor, which serve a very important purpose in life.Therefore, in the economic perspective, the relationship between technology and labor has not only been the subject of discussion, but also a solution has been sought for the relationship between these two concepts. With the industrial revolution that began with the development of the steam engine by James Watt, and the factory system, which is a mass production mechanism, the concept of labor has gained a whole new dimension. Nowadays,labor and producing for individual and local needs get into a process which has been gradually decreasing and disappearing.That's why the concept of employment and unemployment has become extremely important.It is a known fact that manpower has been replaced by machines and robots with the increase in technological developments day by day.In the view of such information,the main subject of this thesis, besides the importance of effort and the technology-employment relationship, the effects of technology on economic concepts such as economic development, global competition, labor force and unionization are evaluated.Different opinions are also included in this issue.In addition, it is taken the relations of technological developments with developed countries and our country in hand ,by giving some considerations.
