Abstract (EN)
When the development of economic growth theories is examined, it is noteworthy that the role of technology in growth comes to the fore especially in the theories of internal growth. R & D expenditures and patent numbers are considered as the main indicators of technology. The impact of technology on economic growth in Turkey and this study aimed to investigate for the economy selected, incorporated in Japan and South Korea analyzed under the economy is selected, the literature of this country, the country's election frequently in nature and work are examined in terms of endogenous growth theories to evaluate the relative structure according to these economies related to Turkey It is important to be targeted. In this study, the effects of R & D expenditures and patent numbers on economic growth were analyzed comparatively for the period 1996-2016 within the scope of ARDL cointegration approach. The findings of the study draw attention to significant differentiation while confirming the long-term relationship between patent, R & D and growth in all three countries. While the long-term flexibility of patents and R & D for South Korea is found to be positive, the long-term impact of the patent in Japan cannot be rejected and R & D is meaningless. The R & D to include Turkey in the long-term positive impact on growth, patents are not statistically significant for the long-term modulus of elasticity. The findings of the study, the R & D policy in Turkey for the improvement of existing positive effects and draws attention to the importance of developing policies related to patents.
