The impact of open innovation in focus of technoparks: Case of Dokuz Eylül Technology Development Zone

Innovation is producing new products or enhancing existing products by differentiating. Comprehensive research and development studies are needed for the innovation process. Today, research & development and innovation are important concepts. In oır country, technology development zones, innovation and R&D ecosystem development continue to speed up. Our study focused on, the status of R&D and innovation in Turkey and the world, development processes and the current status.Application of technology development zones in Turkey and the world has been mentioned. Our research and application applied on software sector which is the most common enterprises in technology development zones. In this context, it has been applied on the impact of open innovation to enterprises in software sector, located in Dokuz Eylul Tecnology Development Zone in Izmir, Turkey. The application in the last part of the research has been carried out the impact of open innovation to enterprises in software sector, located in Dokuz Eylul Tecnology Development Zone. Beside classical statistical approaches, an analysis has been carried out with Apriori algorithm which is one of the data mining algorithms and association rule analysis framework.
