Özet (EN)

In this study, the effects of static electricity on the end-use performance of garments and comfort perception were evaluated during the usage of clothes. In order to determine the static electricity properties of clothing fabrics, a mechanism that produces electricity on the test fabrics by triboelectrification method was manufactured and electrostatic voltage values occurred on the test fabrics were measured by an electrostatic voltmeter simultaneously with the mechanism. The repeatability of the test results produced by the mechanism manufactured in the study was presented by variance analyses. In the context of this study, the effect of the structural parameters of polyester and cotton woven fabrics, which were produced systematically, on the electrostatic properties of woven fabrics were investigated. In addition, a new group of test fabrics having different raw materials which were commercially used in the production of clothing were tested in terms of static electricity properties occurred by friction. The lining fabrics were selected from the test fabrics group which were used commercially and were tested to examine the effect of lining fabric on the static electricity properties of test fabrics and to determine the best lining-fabric combination according to the lowest static electricity results. Finally, the triboelectric series of clothing fabrics used in this study were prepared.
