Abstract (EN)
In the period from the industrial revolution to the present, radical transformations have taken place in the way of production, lifestyle and understanding of art. While the understanding of production, which has changed with the development of the industry, has led to massification, it has also guided the understanding of design. As a result of various researches carried out to solve the application problems between design and mass production, yarn spinning machine, weaving machine, cylinder (roll) printing machine were discovered and each of them became a turning point in textile design. Prior to industrial production, handicraftintensive textile designs and products are predominantly considered as "crafts". However, later on, textile production turned into an art and design field, allowing experimental studies to be carried out and interacting with different disciplines. Today, textile design has changed dimensions with the groundbreaking technological developments of the 21st century, and the design process and concepts have beenredefined with its transfer to the electronic environment. Artistic and experimental studies, on the other hand, multiplied and spread over a wide area. Another revolutionary development in the current century is 3D printing (3D printing) technologies. This technology, which was at the forefront of the period described as "Industry 4", is advancing rapidly and deeply affecting the production processes in different fields. The impact, which includes textile production and design processes, creates a new field that artists and designers should explore. It is not difficult to predict that 3d printing technologies, which have started to enter homes and are used for individual purposes, will be as common as computers or phones. The designer, on the other hand, has priorities such as "being innovative" and "competing" in order for the product to reach large masses. For this reason, it will not be able to stay away from 3D printing technologies. All research on the subject will increase the prediction of how the designer should follow. Sculptural clothing jerseys, shoes, bags, etc., made in the field of fashion and textile design as the output of 3D printers examples of products are abundant. However, in terms of filaments that can be used in clothing, the low tensile strength is a feature that has only recently been overcome. In addition low tensile strength in non-porous structures, there are limitations such as coloring, touch, breathing. The importance of researches that will overcome the limitations of prototype outputs, increase the area of use in textile, fashion and artistic frameworks and reveal new proposals cannot be ignored. This thesis examines the results of experimental studies by considering the relationship of 3D printing with textile surfaces and prints, not the prototype output alone. Thus, it is aimed to reveal and guide the methods that can be alternative to each other in the field of textile and the new surface designs that can be formed by the synthesis of these techniques.
