Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study was to determine the variables, that affect the development of self-confidence in adult individuals between the ages of 20 and 25. The study group consisted of 60 male adultsaged 20-25 years living in Isparta. Individuals participated in the study voluntarily and they were found to have no health problems. The study group consisted of two groups of 30 people. Individuals in the study groups were randomly selected. Both study groups were given basic strength training programs for at least two weeks and a maximum of four days per week for 10 weeks. Measurements were made in the experimental groups before and after the application. Independent t-test was used for inter-group comparisons and dependent t-test was used for the measurement of intra-group changes. Pre-test groups were found to be equivalent in terms of self-confidence. According to the statistical process; no significant difference was found between the target group and the group who did not.
