Over the latest years, additional research and development efforts have been adopted to model and mimic human body motion, such as human arms and legs. These parts are featured with their higher accuracy and complication. Traditional approaches and conventional methods are employed to address and describe human motion, which may fail because of the complexity of human movement. In this context, numerical approaches are implemented to describe the motion and beneficial function of robots using tendons to perform some torsion, compression, and tension tasks. A tendon-driven robotic arm is a novel example of exploiting complex functions in human organs to perform beneficial and active tasks that can reduce the significant level of effort, time, and cost in various applications such as the automotive industry, manufacturing and production lines, and challenging construction activities. In this study, 3DOF modelling and simulations are conducted using SOLIDWORK software to investigate and locate remarkable parameters that substantially impact the tendon-driven robotic arm's performance and functionality of motion to perform tasks efficiently. The results of the numerical analysis revealed that the design and control of a tendon-driven robotic arm can significantly impact its performance and efficiency in performing tasks. The simulation results indicate that the selection of appropriate materials for the tendon, the geometric design of the arm, and the control strategy are the primary factors affecting the arm's performance.
