The relationship between tawakkul, life satisfaction and religiosity

Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the relationships between tawakkul, life satisfaction and religiosity. The research consists of two main parts: theoretical and empirical. In this context, firstly, the theoretical background was created by making a conceptual analysis of the subject, and then the data obtained with the experimental techniques were analyzed and evaluated. Personal Information Form, Tawakkul, Life Satisfaction, Religiosity and Intrinsic Religious Motivation Scales were used in the application phase of the research. The sample group of the study consisted of 848 people, 335 of whom were men and 513 were women. The questionnaire was applied to individuals aged between 15 and 65 years. The data obtained in the study were analyzed in terms of independent variables such as gender, age, marital status, perceived socio-economic level, educational status and occupational status. According to the results of the analysis, religiosity-tawakkul; religiosity-life satisfaction; significant positive relationships were found between tawakkul-life satisfaction and religiosity.
