Özet (EN)
The fireproof property of dry-type transformers makes them the most suitable transformers in residential and hospital use. And thanks to this feature, dry-type transformers have become more reliable than oil-filled transformers. In addition, these transformers are lighter than oil-filled types. In recent years, with the development of high-temperature papers, it has become possible to decrease the amount of the core and conductive material with an increment of the working temperature of the windings. However, the losses in the winding and the core of the transformers cause an increase in the temperature of the transformer with the transformer structure design. This increase in temperature can affect the insulation material used in windings, which have a major impact on the service life of the transformer. The temperature rise and temperature distribution of the windings can be monitored by computer technology and the transformer can be safely overloaded and the production cost can be minimized. In addition, if winding temperature and hot spot temperature can be determined, the aging of the transformers is further minimized. By using ANSYS/Maxwell program transformer manufacturers will be able to control the hottest points and temperature increases in windings on the transformer model before production. The optimum transformer model which is obtained by Harmony Search Algorithm will be formed according to the electrical and mechanical design of the transformer and manufacturers will take the necessary precaution to ensure that this design works with the most reliable state of the transformer.
