Abstract (EN)
Abstract Comprasion of the translation of Thomas Bernhard by Kemal Boztepe as `A Child? Translation science , in other words research of literary translation covers a very wide field. The aim of this workis to put forward translation methods of implict exprebbions in Thomas Bernhards `A Child?. Idioms or phrases are chosen in accordacal with their importance in the literary text. We have also used the sociological method in the text related study. The authors life which has a great affect on forming the literary text is mentioned in the light of examples. It is seen that semantic changes are made particalary in translation of idioms from the original text to the largest text. In this paper, it is put forward that there are translation errors of implict expressions which are categorized in respect of their position in the text. For example sentences that are dealt with in translation critism and analyse, are also offered translation recommendations. We can get a different percpective in literary translation field with this work.
