Trade areas for residential areas and architectural transformation parameters in reflection; Bağcilar region

Urban regeneration is defined as ''Within this framework urban regeneration is acknowledged to be a comprehensive vision and action that aims to provide permanent solutions for the economical, physical, social and environmental urban problems witnessed in a transformed region''(Thomas, 2003). It has become the center of the residential area together with the endustrial revolution, which is starting from the middle 18th century to the late 19th century and lasted until the beginning of the 20th century. Thus, it brought the major problems of urbanization which growed slum districts. By the time, these industrial areas are either destroyed or restored by a change of function because these settlements are not appropriate to living conditions and created unhealthy places. Instead of being demolished structures, associated with the environment and healthier buildings were made. Transforming of the field in Istanbul's Bağcılar Region known as Hürriyet factory Güneşli Plants, the building is demolished which is used as printing and publishing instead of a huge complex is being created that hosts in itself different kinds of field (hotels, residences, social space, commerce, landscape, exc.). The zoning cases with the legislation in force at the time of being has been tried to be examined taking at certain intervals of the field I have specified.
