Letterpress and its revival

Writing's invention is accepted as the beginning of the historical ages and since then writing has never lost its importance in this whole period and became the determinant of many major developments and advances until 21st century. Gutenberg's printing press, which is the origin of the letterpress, has been one of the biggest steps on the developments provided by writing. In this research, on the path of these developments and changes, letterpress' expansion, unproductive and decline phases and the formation reasons of these phases has been explained. The revival that letterpress has been living by the end of the 20th century and in the 21st century by the help of some cultural and technological developments and the expanded uses of letterpress technology in this era was mainly under debate in this research.
