Abstract (EN)

Tokat is a city that has hosted many civilizations in its 6000-year history and contains historical artifacts from many different cultures. Founded on the fertile lands of Yeşilırmak, the city has been on the trade routes for years. For the Ottoman Empire, the city of Princes has a different importance due to its proximity to Amasya and Sivas. Complex: It consists of the "Mosque", "Tomb" and "Double Bath". Over the years, problems have occurred in the building community due to the surrounding public works and wrong interventions. Since the repairs were focused on individual buildings, the harmony between the complex units began to disappear. Ali Pasha Social Complex, which is the subject of this thesis study, has managed to survive for approximately 550 years until today, but sufficient studies have not been done on the problems experienced by the complex. The studies carried out are studies in which buildings far from the perception of a social complex are examined individually and general information is given superficially. In line with all these data, the first part of the thesis study was to re-examine the building community as a social complex. The repair problems and wrong interventions experienced by the social complex were analyzed not individually but within the framework of the perception of the social complex. By comparing the results, the problems were compiled in a table. Necessary solutions were presented to the analyzed problems and possible intervention suggestions were developed.
