Özet (EN)

In this study, soil loss and runoff were estimated by using WEPP (Water Erosion Prediction Project) model in agricultural, forest and pasture lands in Tokat-Almus circumtance. In the study, 11-year climate data of Almus Meteorological Station between 2008-2018 were used. Topsoil soil samples were taken from four different vegetation (forest, pasture, wheat and alfalfa) for three different land use types (forestland, grassland, farmland). The highest soil losses calculated in wheat-fallow crop rotation and the least soil loss occurred in alfalfa farming.According to the model estimation, no soil losses and runoff occurred in forestslands and grasslands. Controlled grazing in grassland, and reduced tillage practices in farmlands are recommended for sustainability of the region. KEY WORDS: Sustainable Agriculture, Soil Loss, Surface Flow, Wepp Model, Land Use, Tokat.
