Adaptation of certain annual ryegrass (Lolium multiflorumlam.) variety for tokat ecological conditions

Abstract (EN)
The study was conducted to determine adaptation of 11 annual ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam.) varieties (Barmultra II, Barspectra II, Bartigra, Baqueano, Caramba, Devis 2017, Pollanum, Trinova, Vallivert, Venüs, Vespolini) in the Tokat ecological conditions. The experiments were arranged in randomized blocks design with three replications. In the annual ryegrass varieties are period of days to earing, main stem length, main stem thickness, number of knots, flag leaf size, flag leaf width, bedtime, green herb yield, dry herb yield, ADF, NDF, K, P, Ca, Mg content, crude protein rate, crude protein yield, rate of digestible dry matter, digstible dry matter yield were investigated. According to results, average total green herb yield was determined 3961.79 kg/da, average total dry herb yield was determined 947.36 kg/da, crude protein yield was determined 151.04 kg/da, average ADF content was determined %.27.85 and average NDF content was determined %55.33. As a result, it is seen that the high yield performance and quality of annual ryegrass is in the Tokat ecological conditions, it can be grown easily and successfully due to its features such as being able to many cutting of during one vegetation period and not swelling when consumed as fresh by animals.
